How I Got Started

"My Mom always told us, that we could have whatever pets we wanted, as long as we took care of them, and Grandpa said it was okay.  Little did she know, what would happen!"

It all started in the winter of 2010 when my brother purchased two Dwarf Nigerian Does, Daisy and Lilly.  The next thing you know, I aquired a buck.  Then, as you may have already figured out for yourself, they are like a bag of potato chips, once you have one you just cant stop.....

Once I had all the goats, I decided that I needed a dog to help protect them.  So in the Fall of 2012, I found a perfect female, Mia.  She is 1/2 Anatolian and 1/2 Great Pyranees.  Shortly thereafter, I thought I needed to get a pup.  That way, Mia could train it as well as have assistance with her guarding duties.  So in 2013 I purchased Asa.   Asa has been a wonderful guardian from the start.  At 6 months old he was protecting a heard of 48 does and bucks both on his own and with another LGD (Great Pyrenees).

Then Mia gave me pups.  I decided to get her spayed. (due to the fact that she is not pure blood, and she had a bit of trouble delivering the pups.)  Since then our herd has grown to include Lamachas, a few meat goats and sheep, both Hair and Wool (including some amazing California Reds).  Naturally, more dogs were needed....  So, in 2013 I added Marriah, and in 2014 Rosy came.  Both of these girls are beautiful, AKC Registered Anatolian Shepherds, as well as amazing LGDs.  All of this before my Sophomore year in Highschool!

Thank you again, to all those who got me started!!
